The Mathematical Markup Language (MathML)
MathML is an instance of XML born to describe
both content and presentation of mathematical expressions
MathML is developed by a Working Group of the
Worl Wide Web consortium, of which we are members.
Here you can find the latest Working Draft (2.0)
Two kinds of markup: content and presentation.
There exists also elements to mix and link together content and
presentation.
The content elements can't be exhaustive (math
is infinitary) ===> csymbols is an element added to "define"
a new content element
This is an
example of content markup. This
is a (corresponding) example of presentation markup.
